Mette Mosegaard is joining the FÓLK team at its newly established Copenhagen office as Director of Product Design and Development. Mette is an industrial designer from the Aarhus School of Architecture with two decades of extensive experience from various roles in the Danish design industry. Her last role before joining FÓLK was as Design Manager at Fritz Hansen, where she for 7 years played a key role in launching its accessories collection, working closely with renowned designers, developing it into a strong and prosperous business unit. Before that she worked as product developer for Christmas items across all brands at Rosendahl. Other experience includes design management for companies such as Sørensen Leather, Dansani and Pelikan Copenhagen.  

Important step to challenge the established mindset 

Hiring Mette is an important step in FÓLKs plans to grow its sales internationally. The company is preparing a launch of new sustainably focused designs at Stockholm Furniture Fair in February.
