The shelf is made from wood grown and logged in sustainable forests in East Iceland.
Shelf materials:
Icelandic Poplar. The Poplar is a white wooden type with few natural marks. It is finished with white linoleum Linseed Oil Wax. Linseed Oil Wax is a natural product containing linseed oil, beeswax and colour pigments. The wax gives a water-repellent silky matt surface which can be cleaned with a weak mixture of Linseed Soap and water.
Icelandic Larch. The Larch is a wood type with distinctive natural marks. It is finished with black linoleum Linseed Oil Wax. Linseed Oil Wax is a natural product containing linseed oil, beeswax and colour pigments. The wax gives a water-repellent silky matt surface which can be cleaned with a weak mixture of Linseed Soap and water.
Bracket material: Powdercoated steel. Powdercoated in Iceland.
Assembly instructions
Mount two simple steel shelf brackets on your wall, then place the wooden shelf between them.
